My little big boy is now 5 and is starting kindergarten tomorrow. I am SO proud of him, he is growing up so fast and wonderfully! We had a fun 5th birthday in So Cal visiting family. Party and fun with Nana B, Nana A, the cousins, and a big Disneyland trip with Gran PD :) 5th birthday out with a bang. He is into transformers, legos, making his sissy giggle, having fun outside, and learning something new all the time. He loves cuddling on the couch and I am going to take advantage of that as long as possible! M-girl is also growing in leaps and bounds. Saying new things all the time like her own versions of "All Done" and "Brudder" (Brother) and "Wata" "Uh-oh" and "Bye-bye" and "Hello" and "Hi" and "Dada" and "Mama" and Gagook (for balloon, which is her favorite thing ever!) and she even calls the cat and dog (a big animal lover!). She is starting to run alllll over the place. She LOVES being outdoors and going to new places. That girl is so busy and doesn't want to sit still for very long. SO independent! She also loves her food and is a good eater :) Kiddos keep Momma busy and lovin every day we get to spend together. I am so lucky and blessed to watch them grow.

Lots of Milestones

First Steps - 11 months

M-baby taking her first steps at 11 months. It happened almost overnight. One day she was crawling and the next she was taking steps. M-kid did the same, except at 10 1/2 months. She is very proud of herself! My baby is growing sooooo fast. And Matty is starting kindergarten this fall!!! Graduates from pre-school in 2 weeks =) Bittersweet.

2010!!!!!!! and belated Happy Holidays

Happy New Year! I have a 7 mo old and 4 1/2 year old (almost kindergartner!!!!). Looks like M-kid will be starting in the fall. I can't believe it. M-baby is almost crawling and is eating yummy homemade solid foods =) I am love love loving my time w/ my babies.......what a huge blessing to watch them grow!! Some funnies from M-kid: "Mommy, you can't be my friend because you are my mom." So I told him that mommies and daddies can be your friends too...and he said no because we aren't kids. =) He has a point there, haha. "Mommy, I love you. You are my favorite Mommy. I am going to get you a Valentine, too. I am going to get you a wallet. I love you." While reading Humpty Dumpty book and the egghead cracked open..."Is his yolk going to fall out" "The yolk is his blood and its going to come out" HAHAHAHA!!! So cute and so funnny!! He is doing great in preschool and making good friends.....and of course learning lots! Teachers say he is an all around kid and should be totally ready for kindergarten! Not sure Mommy is, but that is another story! Being a Mommy is the best.EVER!!!
