First Steps - 11 months

M-baby taking her first steps at 11 months. It happened almost overnight. One day she was crawling and the next she was taking steps. M-kid did the same, except at 10 1/2 months. She is very proud of herself! My baby is growing sooooo fast. And Matty is starting kindergarten this fall!!! Graduates from pre-school in 2 weeks =) Bittersweet.

2010!!!!!!! and belated Happy Holidays

Happy New Year! I have a 7 mo old and 4 1/2 year old (almost kindergartner!!!!). Looks like M-kid will be starting in the fall. I can't believe it. M-baby is almost crawling and is eating yummy homemade solid foods =) I am love love loving my time w/ my babies.......what a huge blessing to watch them grow!! Some funnies from M-kid: "Mommy, you can't be my friend because you are my mom." So I told him that mommies and daddies can be your friends too...and he said no because we aren't kids. =) He has a point there, haha. "Mommy, I love you. You are my favorite Mommy. I am going to get you a Valentine, too. I am going to get you a wallet. I love you." While reading Humpty Dumpty book and the egghead cracked open..."Is his yolk going to fall out" "The yolk is his blood and its going to come out" HAHAHAHA!!! So cute and so funnny!! He is doing great in preschool and making good friends.....and of course learning lots! Teachers say he is an all around kid and should be totally ready for kindergarten! Not sure Mommy is, but that is another story! Being a Mommy is the best.EVER!!! HAPPY FALL

Can't believe it's already November. Halloween is over, it's getting darker earlier, and Christmas is right around the corner. Our babies are growing TOO fast. M-girl is almost 4 1/2 months and is in a hurry to get places. She is rolling all around. I leave her alone for one minute and the next thing I know she is on the other side of the room! Crazy! I wish I could just bottle up that feeling of my newborn sleeping on my chest, and experience it all over again. And my big boy will be going to kindergarten next year. He is in such a fun stage - where lies the imagination! Monsters, outerspace, dinosaurs, pirates, creating scenes in his mind, so much curiousity!! So much fun. Exhausting, wonderful, amazing, challenging FUN! Here are some recent pics.

Astro boy (points to his new McDonalds toy and says "he is the bravest person") Ask Mommy a question Um, um, um...shoo shoo, that is the only question I have. Matty, that's not a question. Yes it is. Ask me something that you want to know about. Um,um,ummm "what is your favorite question?" So I gave him some examples of questions. "Cow, cow cow. Momma I will tell you what a question is...a question is a poo poo or a cow"
